ASI’s lab performs a wide range of soil, sediment (freshwater and marine), water column (freshwater and marine) and pure compound studies with fish, invertebrates, plants, algae and microbes. Acute, chronic, sub-lethal and bioaccumulation potential studies (static, renewal or flow-through) are routinely performed at our Flemington Laboratory. The lab is equipped with a 35,000 gallon natural seawater supply, culture facilities, sediment labs, effluent labs, soil labs and support analytical labs. Bioassay studies are used to support effluent discharges under the National NPDES and State permit programs. Toxicology studies are also used to evaluate soil, sediment and water samples for disposal options. |
