Pulse Induced Metal Detecting
Non Ferrous-Metal

Able to Locate Gold and Silver: Aqua Survey utilizes pulse induced metal detectors (PIMD) to detect and map ferrous-based and non-ferrous-based metal objects that are submerged or buried under waterbodies. A PIMD detector is a continuous sensing, passive instrument which can be towed behind a vessel or lowered to the bottom of a waterbody. A pulse induced metal detector can be used to sweep a site for all metal objects. Instrument responses can be used real-time in the field to make decisions or resulting data can be processed to produce maps of targets. Many munitions are constructed of non-ferrous metals (e.g., brass) which cannot be detected by magnetometry.
