Many metallic objects do not contain iron, the necessary element for a magnetometer to detect. Metals such as gold, silver, lead and aluminum will not be detected by this technology. To detect both ferrous-based and non-ferrous-based metals, Aqua Survey utilizes a pulse induced metal detector.
