Environmental Fate Studies Under GLP

Advanced Biodegradation Services Offered: Aqua Survey has been running GLP Environmental Fate studies for over a decade. Fate studies determine how a compound will interact with the environment. These fate studies are typically designed for new chemicals, products or formulations not on the market to evaluate the potential of the material to cause problems in the environment. Fate testing can be done to help bring a material to market or to make an environment claim, such as "this material is readily biodegradable". GLP or Good Laboratory Practice defines a set of guidelines under under regulatory authorities such as EPA, FDA, OECD and EU. A GLP study has enough documentation built into the study such that any regulatory agency can come to the laboratory to audit the study and be able to fully reconstruct it even if the Study Director or Quality Assurance Officer no longer works for the laboratory.
