The key to providing drilling services on-water is to have the right marriage between drilling equipment, vessel and the field team. We believe we have such a union and we routinely provide mud rotary, split spoon and Shelby tube coring services.
Aqua Survey operates a CME-55LC track mounted drill, a Diedrich D-25 skid mounted drill and a portable Winkie drill. The Diedrich unit can be operated from our 32-foot R/V Manasquan and our 70-foot self-propelled lift-boat, the R/V Robert E. Hayes. The CME-55LC is operated on The R/V Hayes. The Manasquan, a gull-winged pontoon vessel, was designed to minimize the cost of the mobilization/demobilization and to be trailerable (without permits), easy to depoly via crane or trailer, and once on the water able to begin work almost immediately.
