Initially our capabilities were limited to sediment exposures of mollusks and marine invertebrate worms. In the early 1980s we began working with soil exposures of earthworm species and also water column exposures with crustacean species. More recently, in the 1990s, we began performing freshwater invertebrate exposures.

ASI can custom design a laboratory or in situ bioaccumulation exposure study. Mollusks can be bagged and attached to submerged exposure frames that can be anchored on the bottom or suspended in the water column via a float pack.
